p sure they're metal. between the layer of blacking and whatever's been done to press that hatching into them, they've been textured and distressed so much it's hard to say.

it's about 28 cm long from back to front, but it's not evenly wide. The front edge is about 11 cm long and then it tapers towards the back and loses about 1 cm. The width measurement at the middle and the back edge is only about 10 cm
