It may explain some shifting urban D sentiment but it's incomplete . In many places such as NY population and D presence Is shrinking *faster* than in the cheap housing areas

Was a juror on a trial (for a shooting!) where, on the stand, the detective in charge described the extent of the investigation as "took statements" and the statements were only taken because the Victims wife showed up at the precinct 3 days later and insisted they do

Our older 2 (twins) were in 1st grade but there was a big local push for outdoor activities that I guess was missing elsewhere, really became *the* neighborhood meeting place. florida beaches were initially more restricted!

Think that having kids was, on average, a moderating (or maybe, distracting) force think parents faced more challenges but somehow came out less emotionally/mentally phased.

The extremes weren't felt here, either. It manifested so weirdly/unevenly and that aspect is not really studied well.
