As our friends and neighbors may soon experience food insecurity, we're sharing resources that can help. We've made a list of places to go and events to attend if you're affected, and will update it as we find new ways our community is supporting one another.

Don't forget that we're closed today and tomorrow! None of your items are due, so focus on your holiday and don't worry about it. Alternatively, if you—like many of us—can't ever STOP worrying, there's always our 24/7 drive-thru book drop.

So... We asked y'all if you preferred ham or turkey for the holidays, and you answered! By a (very) narrow margin, the winner is HAM. 🐷 To be fair, quite a few of you have both, and to that we say...why choose when you don't have to? 😊 (Also, can you please pass the mashed potatoes? Thank you.) 🍽️

Some changes are coming to Hoopla, but it's not going anywhere—item availability may simply fluctuate a bit. Already using a Hoopla? Remember you've got free access to Libby and Freading, too! If you haven't tried any of them, now's a great time to see what else your library card can do for you.

Just a heads up that we'll be closed on Thursday and Friday next week, November 27 and 28. Y'all know the drill: Nothing you have checked out will be due for return on those days, but our 24/7 drive-thru book drop is always there for you. Always. It'll listen without judgment, no matter what.

Autumn's the time to read up on camping, hiking, and more!. Hunter recommends KY author Craig Caudill: "He makes the outdoors accessible, not intimidating, so he's great for both beginners and experienced folks."

Check out our staff picks or the front desk chalkboard to see what else we're reading!

It's that time again: We know you have a favorite. YOU know you have a favorite. But what IS the favorite? Tell us whether you're eating turkey or ham for the holidays! (Whichever wins, we won't tell the other one.) If you're serving neither, share your dish of choice and why—we'd love to know. 🍽️

Unsure what to read? Harley just finished "The House of My Mother" by Shari Franke. "It was emotional, but I couldn't put it down. What we do to each other can be awful, but what we can survive is amazing."

Want more like this? Check out our staff picks display or the chalkboard by our front desk!
