I was saddened to hear about Martin Parr's passing (1952-2025). This is how I first discovered his work. I was struck by her eyes, the boys’ stare, the defiantly chaotic composition. His images, always full of humor, revealed significant aspects of societal rituals & how nations visualize themselves
