Rodriguez has 4 years of club control and top-of-the-rotation potential so the Angels are very likely to take a cautious approach to Opening Day 2026. But, at least for now, I have him on the projected Opening Day roster.

Here's a look at the Angels' pitching depth after acquiring Grayson Rodriguez. Despite the injury history, I think my current projection (129 IP/23 GS) is reasonable for a 26-year-old who expects to be ready for Spring Training.

NPB and KBO are now included in the "Select Prev Team" drop-down so you can track who is expected to sign a MLB contract (and/or eventually sign) after playing in NPB or KBO last season.

More names could be added but there are 6 players who are most likely to sign.

There won't be many MLB contracts signed this early in the offseason, but free agents can now officially sign with a new team. Kyle Hendricks (Angels, 11/6) was the 1st to sign last offseason.
