I think when it goes so far the other way, and you're in sub 1 rpo, it becomes really enthralling, and a boundary totally breaks the spell. There's room for it all in the Test match circus.

If they apply a rule accross the board that's something like "if you touch the ball (before the player) then it's no foul" I'd be ok with it.

About the "points v corresponding fixture v last season" metric. Not to put to fine a point on it - but I think it's garbage. It just highlights how you did last season, rather than any indication of current performance. I'd be amazed if Spurs don't massively outperform last season, for instance
