Unsurprisingly, the tone deaf management and governing body of this institution have decided to press ahead with course/department closures as well as significantly reducing research time. Simply to cover their own failings...

The level of anger across the university is unprecedented. They really woukd be wise to take notice, listen and change course.

Tens of thousands signed petitions, 1300 staff signed an open letter to Council, some of us (i.e. me) wrote directly to each of them without reply, and apparently all they can do is hide behind security guards.

They really are pathetic (excepting our excellent Senate reps). Unable to deal with any challenge. Clearly, they know they are in the wrong.

If you are in Nottingham, there will be protests south side of Trent Buidling while the Council is in session tomorrow 1-2pm and Tuesday 10-11. Please join if you can.
