Labour's vile new policy of confiscating the jewelry and other valuables of asylum seekers has been endorsed by 'Tommy Robinson' and Nigel Farage.

This builds up SCIENTIFIC evidence of the spread and location of greys and the strongholds of reds. Current status as shown in images.

Lynx were driven to extinction in Scotland centuries ago, but we can bring them back!

@ariane-burgess.bsky.social is proposing that Ministers be legally required to begin reintroducing lynx to their former habitats. MSPs will vote on her proposal on Wednesday.

Scotland could support around 400 wild lynx, helping to restore our world renowned nature and biodiversity.

They were once native here before being driven to extinction.

We're bringing their reintroduction to a vote in the Scottish Parliament. 🐈
Lynx reintroduction 'crucial' to restoring Scotland's biodiversity, say Greens

Disappointingly this was voted down by Labour, Lib Dem & Tory councillors. Why are they afraid of us writing a letter?

Thank you to SNP colleagues for their support.

Another step backwards on the climate from the Scottish Government today.

The First Minister has confirmed to @ariane-burgess.bsky.social that the 2030 target for peatland restoration has been dropped and replaced with a weak 2040 target.

What is going on?
The SNP's wrecking amendment to this motion has sadly passed, confirming that the Scottish Government no longer opposes the Rosebank oil field application. A huge step backwards and a sad day for Scotland's reputation on climate action.
Under Nicola Sturgeon & Humza Yousaf the Scottish Government rightly opposed the proposed Rosebank oil field.

John Swinney has sadly dropped that opposition and tried to avoid taking a position at all.

That's not good enough, so tomorrow the @scottishgreens.org will force a vote.

This Bill is personal for me. I had a former racing greyhound called Bert who was a lovely and affectionate dog, but still carried a lot of trauma and injury from his days of being made to race. I don’t want other dogs to have to go through what Bert and thousands of other dogs did.

A huge victory for our campaign against Glasgow-based Seapeak Maritime, who have played a key role in Russian gas exports throughout the invasion of Ukraine!

This is what international solidarity looks like!
Today, after 3+ years of work, we celebrate a major win: UK bans maritime services for Russian fossil fuels — cutting Putin’s war chest.

We welcome this big step + call for quick G7 & EU action against Russian #energy.

Great reporting by @charliecooper8.bsky.social @politico.com 👏

I’ve been delighted to work with her and @RSPBScotland and have now lodged an amendment to the Natural Environment Bill to require swift bricks in new homes in Scotland! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🪶
As I spend the day in Parliament, please lobby politicians from your computers! Email your MP even if you’ve done it before. Without swift bricks there is no secure nesting habitat for cavity nesting birds. They can’t stabilise their crashing population’s without breeding. Obvs.
