Pretty much, yeah. Like the layout and urban design of Kowloon and the actual island largely predates Beijing rule. (I could be totally wrong btw not an expert) It’s really just a few new MTR routes and the new towns outside the urban core area that are recent

Look I’ve lived in Hong Kong, I love the city, after London it is probably my favourite place to be and it’s the only city where English isn’t the primary language that’d I’d actually consider working in permanently.
