It's infuriating as an artist trying to get by especially, no audience here, everyone's there, but even if I did return, no one would see my posts. There's no winning. Poison my soul by going back with a prayer I'll get a sliver of visibility? Or stay here in the void waiting for nothing?

I really don't get it. I gave up a big following on main cause everyone else seemingly was moving here too at the time. Why use the Nazi site that steals everything you post to poison the planet? For fake bot numbers? It's ridiculous.

Yeah, I guess I'm just used to people moving on from one thing to another rather than straight up vanishing, and it always worries me when people just. Stop posting one day.

It's not necessarily even people who nuked accounts, just stopped using them since 2024/2023 in a lot of cases. But I guess still could just be abandoning a fandom and moving elsewhere.

The banning of not just marginalized and vulnerable people but journalists outspokenly critical of the *gestures vaguely* is not a good sign, like, at all 💀

Yeah it's rough, and I don't see Bsky winning out with how they're running things. Both platforms are run by people who act like toddlers which makes them suck for different reasons, but ultimately Bsky is, at least, not a nazi bar yet (but they seem pretty open to the idea unfortunately).

Oh god and the OB cards are gonna come to EN soon too... why can't I just have one favorite boy instead of like 5 of them.

I try to keep up with some of my favorites via xcancel but like, it's frustrating to have to remember different user handles that are often full of number strings and also I feel shitty to give twitter any traffic even if I'm not engaging, idk. Just a bummer.
