Corset #handbag update: I’m thinking the actual corset part of the bag was the “easy” part—or at least not as time consuming. The frequent need to use pliers to pull the needles thru has really slowed me down….

thanks, it's been an interesting learning curve. the pattern is for leather, which i don't work with, so i'm both learning new techniques AND wiggling around using non-animal based materials. bontex (bag stiffener) has become my new best friend, for sure! 🤣😉

so glad that the move is over and congrats on the promotion. you've got so much on your plate RN, been thinking about you. it absolutely sucks that there aren't more support systems in place for both younger disabled people and their caregivers. LMK if there's anything i can do. 🫶🏻
