Electrification is the simplest way to decarbonize: a heat pump even on a dirty grid uses less carbon than burning gas.
So, why does the UK government levy net zero electrotech like heat pumps more than hydrocarbon gas?
Taxing the clean option harder than the dirty one is a policy fail.

And Mamdani got roughly 300,000 more votes than both de Blasio and Adams...
So maybe not that much of an underperformance...?

Unmanaged solar conversion can certainly lead to negative ecological outcomes, agrovoltaics is the mitigation strategy against this very problem, directly linking the production of renewable energy to the goals of enhanced food security, biodiversity, and farm resilience...
