I know it's just a few elections in spots you may not even live in. Maybe even if your local election didn't go the way you'd have hoped, the pendulum is, at least for now, swinging back in the right direction. There's still *so* much to be pissed about, and they might try to force their hand

Is it on a fixed day of the month? Chicago is a 6 hour round trip but if its feasible Id definitely try and make at least one

It should also be mentioned, however, that I am beyond lucky and have lived here since I've been one so I have a full American accent and most people around here are so not used to Latinos they don't know I am one until it's brought up (or they see how my name is actually spelled)
