(To be fair: racism in disaster response has tradition. The USG fucked up helping predominantly black New Orleans in 2005, being on Fox in-between shots of looting savages instead.)

The East Wing of the White House complex was built in 1902, significantly expanded in 1942, and demolished in 2025 ahead of a rebuild containing the White House State Ballroom.

THIS is actually part of the FDR memorial, not in the wall of the former East Wing.
