Wild ass show. The pacing is weird and it makes some stylistic decisions that are confusing at first, but I promise you, it gets there (and the worldbuilding was more than enough to tide me over in the meantime). I want more. I need to know what happens!

Hollow Knight: Silksong (Game, 2025)
I was SO ready for this game to not live up to the incredible hype it built up over 8 years. But it lived up to it! The game is difficult enough to make you suffer, but there's no complaints I have about this game that don't feel like nitpicks. It's that good.

KPop Demon Hunters (Film, 2025)
For the low, low cost of "letting people with vision do whatever they want without crunching the hell out of their staff", you too can have a film with this much personality. You can tell they had a blast making it. It got me, and I don't even care at all for KPop.

Best DC film in the last decade. Not that there's any contention for that. Very sick and tired of the concept of the "cinematic universe" but if James Gunn makes more good stuff like this, then I'll play ball.

Y'all weren't kidding when you called this 2D Witness. There's some very interesting puzzles in here, and it's good about getting you to expand on your assumptions. I haven't completed nearly everything this game has to offer, so I intend on going back to it at some point soon.

Croc: Legend of the Gobbos (Game, 1997, Remastered 2025)
Grew up on this game as a kid, so hearing this was getting a remaster got me very excited.
It's... not great. It still has all that early 3d platformer jank and the "new" graphics look too smooth. Glad you can go back to the classic look.

Apparently 2025 is the year of the courtroom comedy, since it's my third one this year.
This was a fun film! Definitely of the era. All of the characters were evocative and larger-than-life. Solid film.

I *think* I'm done with this game? I'm not sure it's done with me. Blue Prince is a puzzle game that squeezed my brain like a wet towel for three weeks straight. If you like esoteric MYST puzzles with a layered mystery rabbithole and... roguelites, I guess? Then get this.
