I am highly dismayed that many of my relatives and friends are being radicalized by moderates and the status quo. They keep under-reacting to the news if they pay attention to it at all.

Today, my wife and I left NYC after visiting a few days, but stopped at Liberty State Park in NJ where we viewed the Statue of Liberty. She greeted so many "teeming masses, yearning to breathe free," like my Great-grandparents in 1910.

The American Federation of Gov Employees issued a press release (11/6/25) opposing AFGE Pres. Kelley's call for a "clean" end to the shutdown.
The union MUST "hold the line" for a budget that secures affordable healthcare & collective bargaining rights before restoring paychecks.

I've heard reports that DHS Secretary Crusty Gnome will hold a Press Conference in Minneapolis Friday afternoon announcing a deployment of National Guard troops and ICE Goons in the Twin Cities and southern Minnesota to continue their unconstitutional actions. Many Clergy will protest the event.

So the Orange King is asking the DOJ for $230 million in reimbursement for legal fees, huh? Presumably that's to pay his legal team, most of whom now work for the DOJ. Shouldn't there at least be some sort of independent review of this request?
