Cats are amazing, even when they don't give a crap about you.

I said goodbye to my 20-ish year old Lulu in February. Her kidney function had be declining for months. I haven't made the decision yet about getting another cat.

Where I'm from in Ontario, the 405 is a *very* short (about 6.7 miles) highway just north of Niagara Falls, so all of these songs oversell what is, for me, a very underwhelming experience.

When your senior cat can't jump up on the bed anymore, you lower the bed by removing the frame and putting the box spring on the floor.

I know I'm going to hurt myself getting in or out of this thing in the middle of the night.

This is Lulu, now aged 17-ish. Adopted from the Kitchener Humane Society in 2012, she was brought in as a stray, but they knew that she had been someone's pet.

She was at the shelter for about three weeks but her family never came to look for her. Sad, but we have given her a good home.

I wish this man no ill will, but he's going to receive taxpayer-funded healthcare as treatment, the same healthcare that's he's actively been working to deny almost everyone else for decades
