The early 10s were full of crunk core party rock & folk indie, Ho Heys

They didnt quite reach the stratospheric level of, The Lumineers, but these dudes definitely had their place in the sun.

Some kind of an insane irony that a 2001 album called, "Soundtrack for a Generation", from a band everyone forgot about, has a hit single, everyone knows as a Starting Line song... which, more or less, kind of embodies the soundtrack of the Napster generation.

You know this song by Student Rick

There hasn't been a single time in human history when an unnofficial mashup, unsupported by either artist, has even artistically worked.

Create rap music cause I never dug disco.

At one point, it sounds like someone is channelling an Eminem that wouldn't drop "Infinite", until later that year, on the s/t track Dr Octagon.

Thanks Kool Keith for SciFi rap.

You ever just zone out and make it to side C before you realize you forgot to turn off dust mode on the record player?

"We have dreams of being dust"

Dissolving, the track that drops the album title, is pretty epic. Whole thing is pretty shoegazey, and at other times I hear Castlevania music.

These peeps never make 2 albums that sound the same. Not bad.

Like TayTay, every era of Marshall has haters

LPII hate was silly & in further hindsight, it's hands down my favorite cohesive Em unit, behind Bad Meets Evil II

The best samples of his discography can be found here & Rubin magic is sprinkled around.
