I suppose you could call sheet music a vintage record player. Just add musicians and out comes the music.

We don't take the US seriously anymore, and probably won't for years. In 100 days Trump has destroyed decades of U.S. worldwide social capital.

You're wrong, but not in the way you're asking about. I think a depression is more likely. A perfect mix of Tariffs, AI uncertainty and Climate change, in a time of government by amateurs.

One of the warnings for 1929 was when your shoe-shine boy (buying on margin) gave you stock tips. Now it's tips and margin buying from everyone on social media. Here's what happened to the Dow (1929-1949): it took 20 years to recover half its peak value.
Hard hat time.

Technical analysis often requires the user to 'recognize a pattern', and the evidence for technical analysis usually takes the form of past 'patterns' that preceded profitable opportunities. Hindsight bias at its best.

I sing silly songs to pretty well anyone who lets me, and some who don't. Here's one just for you :)
"If the sun's in your eyes, how d'you keep off the flies?
A sunhat with visor would really be wise."
I'll spare you the tune, 'cos I haven't made one up yet.

Isn't that a cache? It's there to avoid duplicates (>1 instance of the representation of the same biz entity), and it needs weak refs to stop it filling up for ever. And yes,it's an adapter; that's the thing you usually mock if you want to mock the DB.
