Regarding those other places: in EU where I'm based I've only found non-exchange options that I think technically are options on CFDs (e.g. SaxoBank, IG). But their spreads for EM currencies were a total rip-off.

thx, I once looked at the CME-listed ones and was surprised open interest even for major currencies was quite low. And for some EM currencies the order book is literally empty. Does really nobody gamble on this stuff? 😅 Or they do it elsewhere?
