I’m a sedimentologist studying Earth surface processes and how (paleo)climate shapes our planet. 🌍 In a recent study, we found that climate drove repeated advances of a deltaic system ~51 million years ago, during Earth’s hothouse conditions. 🔥 (1/4)

Our new open access paper is out in Geology 📖🔓! Our findings suggest that climate-driven sediment supply variations during the Early Eocene Climate Optimum 🌡 played a more significant role than changes in accommodation space in controlling the Tremp basin's stratigraphy: doi.org/10.1130/G525...
