To be totally honest I went back and checked how much of jjk I had left, went 'ugh', and started catching up on chapters of other stuff, so that square might just be a total wash.

I'm only really going to count digital stuff in this thread if I complete it or catch up significantly, I think, there's a lot I try to keep on top of. Anyway, keeping ahead of the anime really helped me blast through Witch Watch. Ichinose didn't quite match Takopi's allure but was still enjoyable

That's a wrap on the original run! I'll get around to reading the novels some day but this was a nice reminder about what makes Ryukishi07's writing so special and why this story has stuck with me for so long. Going to take a quick breather before Gou/Meguri.

Gene Bride continues to be very intriguing, I especially like the author interview in this one. Nagabe's stories are always a delight, and Neighborhood Stories has a very strong start right out the gate. Loved Dark Matter as well, what a well written, unsettling story.

A lot of really good ones this round! Tamaki & Amane was worth rereading immediately, A Witch's Life was spectacular and I can't wait for the next volume. I was kind of lukewarm on the author's previous work but I ended up really liking Minzuno & Chayama.

Basically caught up with all of Don't Call it Mystery, alas..... Swan is more of a collector's piece for my library than a sincere attempt at collecting it (unless some publisher wants to be super cool and license rescue it 👀) and so close to being done with Kare Kano.... so close

Glad to get around to starting the Kase-san manga after sitting on a few of the volumes for so long. Secondhand Love was also a fantastic read, I really enjoyed the interview with the author in the back, it added a nice layer of texture to the comics

I borrowed You've Lost a Lot of Blood from a friend but it was so good I might have to buy a copy for myself to reread at some point. Just fantastic and grotesque horror ❣️

I don't know if what's in my personal library is super duper interesting or anything, but here are some of my favorites! Promise and Four Shojo Stories, tokyopop's old, flipped release of Saint Tail, everything that was published in English of Wandering Son, and the first releases of Clover!

A few more! Orb was really good, I'm glad I finally got around to finishing it! I'm really happy to have Four Shojo Stories in my collection now, even if there was only one story in there I was unfamiliar with lol
