this was of course spurred on by debating which classes thancred could or couldnt use because the idea of him choosing gunbreaker on the first was actually pretty fucking stupid of him lol
was also trying to explain all melee dps use magic with most likely the sole exception being dragoon only because the implication with dragoon is that in order to wield it you have to have dragon blood in you
