Totally agree. Any thrombocytopenia should prompt an ultrasound of the abdomen!

Great work @jasmohanbajaj.bsky.social … we have also been moving away from secondary prophylaxis.. specially in those who are already on rifaximin for HE prophylaxis.. havent seen much recurrent SBPs with this approach..
