Really interesting paper. I am wondering if you considered working with de novo peptide sequences for the metaproteomics? and if so, what are the drawbacks? i’m planning a simple metaproteomics study where i wont have any nucleic acid data.

looks cool, hopefully someone can find a pore protein that can distinguish Isoleucine and Leucine, would be a nice feature for proteomics.

Thanks for this, very handy table. One thing i’ve wondered about is instrument scan rate vs peptide amount. eg Reportedly the Astral scan rate must run slower than 200 Hz when doing low load runs.
