😔 it sounds like Customer Relations is doing what they can. My small office has been seeing delays in change of addresses coming through as well as other issues stemming from our local distribution facility. I hope you get your mail forwarded soon 🫶

Within the last month, I have had to fix two of my customers' forwards for them. One failed completely and the other was also in a weird limbo. Having them redo their COA form got it fixed for them, but I think it was a fluke.

The way they updated the change of address system a couple of years ago has been a nightmare. It seemed to have been fixed about 6 months ago, but it's back to straight up not working again. Myself and my rural carrier have been so frustrated with it all.

Did you ever receive papers that confirmed your change of address? The most common ones will give you a code to enter on a specific USPS site or the paper has a barcode you bring into your local PO to have scanned. Sometimes the system sends those papers to the old address instead of the new.

When you submitted your change of address forms, did you do it online or did you bring them to a clerk inside a PO?

DOGE getting access to USPS is most likely how this was even able to happen. I cannot fathom a reason for Postal Inspectors to be aiding in deportation efforts. I've been furious about this. But I'm just a little ol' rebellious clerk, trying to protect my customers as best as I can every day.

DOGE has stripped protections around Social Security numbers, birth dates, employment, disabilities, medical records, and more. Today it’s immigrants. Tomorrow? No one is off limits. More information and our AltDOGE site is coming soon.

Does this mean we can just load packages and shoot to the houses? Because heck yeah! I'd drive one of these everywhere.

Now I feel like I should update the car sticker I have with the mail truck that says "support the troops". This mail "truck" is way cooler

This is weird. I'll do some digging and see if there are issues in Texas. I'm currently only aware of Indiana and Georgia. This loop might be machine issues but may also have something to do with the "new enhanced service standards" where offices are no longer receiving afternoon trucks
