Michael Leavitt won $1 million in a DraftKings contest in 2014, according to The North Andover Eagle Tribune. At the time, the story said, Leavitt and Ferreira were engaged and their son was 8 months old.

You were on the right track with “not as simple as just climate change.” I’m trying to find accessible summaries of what’s a much more complex situation, and I’m angry that the one article being reposted gives next to no indication that there’s anything else at play.

"This narrative of climate change is responsible, to be honest, is not really accurate," AghaKouchak said, adding that Iran has weathered drought throughout its history. I can point you to other sources of material if you’d like, but this is from that exact article. The thing about bureaucracy on an individual level is that it’s quite hard to undo. It’s not the same thing as steamrolling over people’s rights. Some Venn diagram overlap, sure, but for this? Not much.
For those who updated their passports before this administration, any attempt to revoke those documents would be far more complicated. The process would be costly, the relevant information is not easily accessible, and such actions would almost certainly run into additional legal hurdles and face separate court challenges. And for anyone whose passport the government does seek to change, the law guarantees an appeal with a hearing on request—an extraordinarily expensive and resource-intensive process for an agency that is not equipped to handle a surge of such cases.

You are correct! There are N95s (loops behind your head), KN95s (ear loops, vertical fold in front), and KF94s (ear loops, horizontal folds that kinda pop open). KN94s are not a thing.

I don’t anyone in their 20s who think anyone was handed an easy life. I do know people in their 20s who wish they could have gone to college or maybe even grad school before fucking students over became an entire stand-alone billion-dollar industry. This chart only starts in 2008.

So not for nothing, but has it been confirmed that these are even legitimate under their OWN rules? They are, as we know, epically bad at logistics.
In response to questions about the $5,000 fee being applied to minors, the Department of Homeland Security referred New York Focus and The Intercept to a press release about a different fee of $1,000 for immigrants paroled into the us. The agency did not respond to follow-up questions.
