Here are some questions I've been asking myself.
Perhaps they are questions you've been asking yourself, too?

This might be first of a series entitled: "Whited Sepulchers."
Or, perhaps: "In the tradition of 'Dorian Gray.'"
It's not a portrait she, nor anyone else, would recognize--with their eyes.

Good Morning, Everyone!
Here's something I started and finished (I think) last week.
It feels appropriate to our times--though, really, any time period, I suppose.

I started this poem of grief and resolve when Russia invaded Ukraine, added to it when Hamas attacked Israel... & when Israel began bombing Gaza. It found this final form when my husband was diagnosed with cancer.
(Sing it to Remo Giazotto's "Adagio in G Minor," (also attributed to Albinoni.)

I wrote this poem after emerging from a many-years-long night of my own. It's really a simple reminder of what we have each seen over and over throughout our lives.
(This can be sung to J. S. Bach's "Air," in his Orchestral Suite No. 3 in D Major.)

Good Morning, All.
This is the first in a series of digitally-altered photographs that I'm calling: "Abandoned Promises."

I'm finding it hard to cope with the horrors we are seeing, hearing, and reading about each day.
One thing that is helping me are these eight words. They keep me from feeling so lost, so rudderless. I share them here in case some of you, my friends, also find them useful! ❤️

A recurring, intermittent sound that escapes me while I try to decide on my best path going forward. I firmly believe that the best way to cope is to make plans that I can actually do, and that will most help others (near and far)--both now and in the future. And then...TO WORK!

I took this photo in downtown Dallas during the late 1990s--from a bus window on my way home from work.
Any thoughts about what the stories of these two men might be...or a possible title?

I wonder,,,
Who is this? Where is this? And is the situation urgent?

Good Morning, Folks!
Need a quick diversion?
I'm wondering: Who is this mysterious person? And what is he up to? 🤔

Good Morning!
This is another page from the little book I made 20 years ago during a weekend conference which featured discussions of Parker Palmer's writings.

Good Morning!
I wonder what sort of creature this is?
Someone's pet, perhaps?
(Found, as you can see, on a map!)

This is a page from a little booklet I made for myself 20 years ago as a momento of a weekend seminar featuring the life-affirming writings of Parker J. Palmer. I felt a particular kinship with that panicky, imperfect kitty.
(Both the kitty the monkey are stickers I'd bought.) ❤️

Here's another Twiglee to dance us into Monday!

I'm posting this for anyone who needs a quick laugh.
I am revising a draft of a novel...and these are the opening lines.

Need a chuckle?
My Jeff asked me this question last week--and answered it!

Need a Break?
Here are 2 views of the same "Twiglees." A ballet dancer--& the first I made. I shaped it from a failed Carissa Holly shrub that was badly root-bound before I had planted it in our yard. I'm fairly sure I over-fertilized it, too.
(The blue box is attached to the wall with thumbtacks!)

If you only ever listen to one song of mine, please choose this one. I wish I could say that it captures who I am, but I'd better just say that THIS is whom I aspire to be.

The perfect lyrics would express yearning, patience, hope, and...joy!
