Football (esp Liverpool), music (esp classic rock), films, whippets, science; sci-fi (esp Doctor Who); Politically greenish. He/him/er. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇩🇪🇪🇺; too old for all this nonsense.
That is a very well placed upper cut. It catches Tate cleanly on the chin, which is quite impressive since Tate doesn't actually appear to possess one.

Well, if passengers must insist on disrupting rail service providers...

I think my favourite phrase was, "we advise you to make alternative travel arrangements." Which was essentially an advert for Volkswagen.

I actually got to see this for the first time a couple of years ago. I was impressed, even if it was a bit dated. I had been looking forward to it when it first came out, but unfortunate family circumstances meant that I missed it at the cinema.

That episode really jarred with me. It was someone else trying to be Jon Pertwee. The new production team took over after that, and although the episodes must have been written with Pertwee in mind, the difference in tone was stark. Arc In Space really terrified me at the time.

I'd swap Ambassadors with one from the last series so you can cover each companion. I'd actually go for Invasion of the Dinosaurs. It's actually a great story even if the effects were ropey.

I think we are seeing progress from Kerkez. Frimpong was the one that excited me most, having seen him a bit for Leverkusen. His injuries are a bit perplexing because he had barely had so much as a knock over the last few seasons.

I'm not particularly into death wishes, but he is 80 years old with the body fat ratio of a pork scratching. I suspect time may be on your side.

The green one looks like Diaz

I think that's the sensible decision. It would be a total distraction if he was there. Hopefully, they can smooth things over before the Brighton game, one was or the other.

He rather reminds me of those Soviet era leaders who pinned medals on each other for imagined heroics, completely oblivious to the fact that the rest of the world was pointing and laughing at them.

Trump is just the latest in a long line of ridiculous men pampered by sycophants.

Sounds intriguing. I'm getting the feeling that this is an updated version of early 1970s Doctor Who, but just the UNIT guys. Would that be a reasonable assumption?

This is very true. We bought a new car for my wife this year, and there were some behemoths that you couldn't fit your knees in or had no headroom. She actually went for a Kia Picanto, which was possibly the smallest car (externally) that we looked at.

I actually moved all our possessions from one country to another in a VW Golf. We didn't take the furniture and it was more than one trip, but it is surprising how much you can fit on one. (including 2.4m shelves.)

I think it was meant to be a running idea that reality had been changed. TBH, I think they should have done more with the rubbish Beatles song. They could have had Ed Sheeran do a cover version of it or something.

I'm going to defend this! Wonderful Christmastime is a bit of a throwaway, but it came from the McCartney II sessions. That album is also derided, but there is a lot of interesting stuff on there: essentially trying to meld Kraftwerk-style electronica with Beatles melodic sensibilities.

It was an MRI of his brain. Don't worry, there was nothing to see...

I mean literally nothing.

The odd thing is that it was the Liverpool players trying to talk him out of it. Was he deliberately trying to get himself sent off, or do his teammates regard him as a bit of a dickhead?

I think Imposter gets unfairly overlooked. Of course, that's only films. You have The Man in the High Castle and the whole Electric Dreams anthology to add to that.

I'm not sure whether a faithful adaptation would actually be possible. As much as I like Dick's books, they do need a lot of adaption.

I found it difficult to find a compact MPV that can take a wheelchair. They aren't fashionable anymore. Oddly enough, two manufacturers that do make suitable models are BMW and Mercedes. I'm not a Motability user, but I can understand the problems those in need have.

Presumably, any claim would have to be on the basis that his good name had been besmirched. It would be quite amusing if any court case was a listing of ever single lie, misdemeanour,
sexual misconduct, corruption, felony and offence that Trump had ever carried out. I would take weeks, mind.
