Vote blue. Aston Villa. Philadelphia Eagles. Rocvillan on Untappd.
The offensive line grade should be lower. You mention the pass protection being better, but don't say anything about the stupid penalties and the atrocious run blocking (at least on the inside runs). Aikman said Steen has been good. As usual, he is wrong.

Honestly why? You want a coach that throws his assistants and players under the bus midseason? We all know what the problems are.

Villa fan, so maybe my bias is clouding my vision, but the ref set the tone from the start. Seemed hesitant to call fouls early, including some Arsenal committed. It did create a more physical match than I would've expected. Think Villa handled it better, which surprised me.

As a Villa fan, it feels like we've gotten into the top 4 without playing anywhere near our best football offensively. Think that says more about the league than us, but presents a massive opportunity if Watkins and Rogers can get back to peak goalscoring form.

The CEO of the Red Cross makes 1.3 million, and it is still one of the best charities for disaster relief IMO. Some of these technically nonprofit cancer centers and medical charities, the CEOs make way more than that.

While that is absurd, it still gets 4 stars on Charity Navigator, and around 98% of all money donated goes to actually feeding people. You could do worse.

I thought the blew up the Chicken Man in Philly.

Which is particularly galling since they let Man City do it, but for some reason, they get to shut the door behind them.

To me, that's what PSR and UEFA's rules are saying: know your station, don't try to ever be anythinf more than a secind tier club, or we will come after you.
September 25, 2025 at 4:06 PM
But it is only a mistake because they didn't succeed. And I don't understand why you would want rules that would discourage clubs in Villa's position last year from going for it.

Spurs spent 210 million player transfers this year. How is $65 mil for Simons a cheap gem? Villa gambled on higher wage players because they were in the Champions league and in hunt for top 4. PSR does not make clubs profitable or sustainable and is corrupt, just like the EFL, UEFA, and FIFA.

No.

Overspending? Villa's net spend is negative 62 million pounds over the past 5 years, which is 17th among the 20 current EPL teams. Underperforming? Europe 3 years in a row. Made it to quarterfinals of the Champion's League last year. The system is rigged, and you are obviously clueless.
