Illustration requires a library of anatomical proportions, scaling to perspective. I can spot errors, but needing to make 1,000 strokes to choose one is an inefficient path.

So I skip it, ask permission, and loudly credit the illustrators.

For me, light is more intuitive to study and imitate.
