I turned 57 earlier this month and today had my first ever kidney stone attack……that wasn’t fun at all. Doing much better now, back home feeling almost normal.

I’m 100% sure I saw The Oak Ridge Boys in 82 at the Beaumont Civic Center. Sylvia (wearing a bubble dress) was the opener. I would have been 14, my grandparents got tickets for the entire family.

I last saw The Oak Ridge Boys in May 2023 in Lake Charles.

I once referred to some music as splatter jazz……someone responded saying I had just invented a new genre……it didn’t catch on.
