48 years old, 23 years industry experience, 3 life changing redundancies (was feeling the financial knock ons for years to come after each). Luckily I'm at a fantastic place and here for the long haul with any luck. That said if it happens again I'm out. God know what I would, or could, do though 😅.

Could never justify the cost of it out of my own pocket but if I was asked to go for work I would decline - I have no interest in subjecting myself to travelling to the states and all the stresses that entails given the current climate there.
