the Act is the Act.
The reality is that a Canadian Prime Minister will try to avoid a constitutional crises. The leader of Alberta's official opposition can fix the problem within years not decades.
Change the provincial gov't, don't blow up the country.

Kind of how Canada works.

we're so damn Canadian sometimes.
When pressed, we all agree more folks should see our parks and historic sites.
The damn Yanks seem to be going another route, reducing free admissions and charging foreigners extra, rather than citizens less.
Warts and all, I love this country.

Skip Peterborough. send the line south to Brockville, thence to Toronto. The geography and geology of the highway 7 routing will be disastrously expensive. More citizens to serve on the lakeshore too.

Healthcare is a provincial responsibility. You may want to contact the man who can help without blowing up confederation.

They are aware that many seniors winter down there and this will not make them feel or be safe. They brought the policy in anyway.
Ideology over dollars, in the USA. Not the america i grew next to.

That's what we Canadians say a lot lately.

My experience in Cabbagetown is that some motorized bike riders are a menace. even if they don't hit people they cause seniors and those with mobility challenges to freeze up in fear. terror on our sidewalks.
Your position is not a safe one in an urban neighbourhood.

mentioning Trump should be an 'all drink".
December 13, 2025 at 1:48 AM
miracle? Trump tried to kill their friend, Indiana's own Mike Pence.

Retribution. not a miracle.
December 12, 2025 at 3:53 AM
looks nice. not a single home built during a crises, but it looks really nice.
December 12, 2025 at 3:27 AM
it looks painful. what kind of drug cocktail is he on?
December 12, 2025 at 3:07 AM
He sent Vance to talk to senior experienced GOP senators from Indiana. They probably told Vance that trump tried to murder their friend Indiana's Mike Pence.
December 12, 2025 at 2:18 AM
that would be an overdose of love as I recall.

One of the things we learn about federalism in Canada, is that in Canada residual powers go to the provinces, in the USA residual power goes to the federal gov't.
I'm not sure the admin's assertion of power on ai isn't well founded.

They're still corrupt, but maybe legal in this case.

December 12, 2025 at 1:42 AM
almost no activity at the bird feeder in cabbagetown, we've had a big red tail girl in the trees above us all week.

no squirrels out back, means the cats can't go out though. meal is a meal to a hawk.
