it gets even better because most modern houses are built cheap and fast and have a lifespan shorter than your mortgage duration so you'll be paying for it even after it's uninhabitable. problem solved

right on the heels of overwhelming victories giving them a clear mandate to continue fighting, party leadership caves asking eight members who are not up for reelection this cycle to take the fall and vote yes. it's not just that the democratic party isn't our "friend" — it's much worse than that
