I should probably update my howto that I did years ago about playing fighting games on Linux.
For reference, you no longer need to enable proton as it is enabled by default!
I also recommend using Proton Wayland for smoother frametimes and even less latency.

I personally believe if we want to try and dress up using AI gen to "speed up production" as if that is the real concern, we should instead be more okay with reusing already existing assets made by actual humans, rather than generating from a pool of stolen assets at a massive energy cost
