RGG are literally in franchise mode now - all of the games are created to spec, filled to an adequate degree but definitely lack the flair, soul and newness of a few years back. Get rid of those damn silver briefcases for example. They are now more interested in the merch and promo side of things.

Transforms in to something that looks like a chest plate for a combiner, can also become a combiner torso that confusingly looks like it is missing a chest plate.

You could almost say that as a marketing gimmick, it stands alone…

Subjects of portraits are often painted looking straight ahead which depending on the angle, makes the gaze appear to be focused on you and seemingly able to follow you around the room - perhaps the humour is simply derived from the ‘what if’ of that.
