I was keeping track of the case and this guy’s evidence was using words like “extinction”. It was laughable and the only reason it wasn’t thrown out is because the judge didn’t consider Bungie’s counter evidence reliable because content had been vaulted

I think it’s less the resolution bump and more the convenience of being able to hook it up smoothly in a modern setup

It’s a fascinating, memorable game with harsh subject matter portrayed in a way most games fail at with some of the most in-depth world building I’ve seen in quite some time. It’s got plenty of flaws but it’s one of my favorites this year

Talking to younger players about this and they actually cannot wrap their heads around the concept or value of a multiplayer game without progression. It’s unrecognizable to them

It has not been referenced by DICE a single time anywhere despite quite a few people being impacted

There’s a bunch of things I can’t use including the Kord, SG, and Deploy Beacon

I was on the verge of getting them too so if they update was a day later I’d be good

And here’s the kicker for me, when they made challenges easier (a necessary change) a bunch of things I was close to unlocking before didn’t even though the challenge was complete. I’m locked out of a bunch of weapons and gadgets with no acknowledgment of the issue

All that and it doesn’t work

Arc Raiders feels like the only one that got away with it. Every other high profile example has had to patch out assets, make a statement saying it was a mistake, apologize, etc
