We definitely need more varied speakers but there are finite speaking slots which seem to always go to the well-known speakers.
It also seems like speaking requires a whole social and GitHub persona. It’s basically a job.

I think the political discourse has become so fractured and entrenched that we don’t have a clue what the other sides are thinking.
