I worked the HTML mines in the 90’s so I’ve seen some shit.

We definitely need more varied speakers but there are finite speaking slots which seem to always go to the well-known speakers.

It also seems like speaking requires a whole social and GitHub persona. It’s basically a job.

Perhaps I am just bitter because I missed out on #dotnetconf 😀
