Sat on my todd in the main stand. Jumped up for Garcia's goal and my legs were jelly when I landed. Almost passed out. Will never forget that goal.
2nd leg was working so watched on sky+ at a mates. Every nerve shredding minute when game was already over! We could've found out the score but didn't.

I played my definitive "my band of the 90s" on my drive home from the train station half an hour ago. First time in a while. No tears. Just huge smiles and loud, terrible singing. Fuck feeling sad about it.

You're right, it's never easy, but it's almost always fun. Newcastle at Anfield is one of my favourite fixtures every season.

I thought something similar at the match, so was surprised to hear Slot after say he was happy with how we played first half, when he's been happy to be critical at times this year. I wonder if it was a specific tactic last night.

I think there's also a few who just don't know how to play when they don't have all the running. Foden's legs haven't gone, but he looks slow and lost all the same.
