I generally like rock music and am a big nerd about it, although I tend more toward alt than metal. But I borrowed a Savatage CD (Wake of Magellan) from a friend when I was in high school and gave it a listen. Absolutely loved it. I need to listen to it again, thanks for the reminder!

Similarly, they published stories by Bethany Mandel quite regularly up until about two years ago. I suppose some of these outside writers bring an audience with them, but sometimes at a cost.

Probably true at this point. Heck, he's been impeached twice and 1/3 of the country didn't care. Not getting hopes up.
