The best part of Nell introducing the step-kid is their love of Spike and the ensuing memes we can all share betwixt one another.
A snippet from a WhatsApp conversation with myself and my step-kid, named Subpar Telescope in my phone. It shows the complaining lady pointing out of frame, with a woman stood to her side, she is pointing at a very smug looking white cat with a plate of salad in front of it. Was looking for some old family photos of my Dad today, and ones of Mum and Dad together. Dad hated being photographed. It was slim pickings. I *DID* however, find these 2 glorious photos of a 7, 8 or 9 year old me... I dont remember how old I was here. Probably for the best!

Today, I am building Raspberry Pi systems and projects with a newly 10 year old not-so-little-man. I don't understand where the time has gone?
The coolest Dad/Baby Yacht Rock Rap Group you never heard. A younger Rob with someone who at first glance resembles a Christmas elf but is in fact, my son. Over the years, Ive had 4 operations on my back. Plus multiple back injuries & a damaged disc. My back has been awful the last few days. Really painful. Workstoppingly painful. BUT, what ails me the most, dear reader is this small cut on the side of my thumb. Every knock, touch or tweak is agony.
My stupid thumb, with a small, .5cm at most cut alongside the nail.

9 years old, knows how to code, knows how to make circuits and other STEM based stuff, and is now attempting Blender... my son constantly blows me away with his knowledge, his ability, and how he tackles things.
