Very sorry to hear it - I hope your friend has made a full recovery!
Much of my mother‘s final year was miserable and Carmody’s injections played a large part in that. In court, Mr Carmody was repeatedly unable to look me in the eye - draw what conclusion you like from that.

She had a long, miserable history of being preyed on by unscrupulous cranks and frauds while enthusiastically promoting every hare-brained conspiracy she ever came across.
