Might have heard the worst fucking take about movie going in my life yesterday:

“Any movie over 2 hours long should have an intermission.”

What prompts someone to think this?

A movie that takes place where your from

For better or for worse.

The best depiction of North Texas than most shows based and made in North Texas.

Watched Passages (2023) and Je Tu Il Elle (1974) for the world’s most depressing and horniest double feature ever.

My grandma was having a garage sale and we went through our old dvd collections. This was what I grew up on as a kid.

What flavor is your OC?

Rebel would be like a sweet flavor, so why not arroz con leche?

Welcome to my Echo Chamber, but instead of conspiratorial, right wing weirdos, it’s all furries (With a few exceptions)!

“When the XRP goes up, you’ll be thinking about how you should’ve listened to that Uber Driver who told you so.”
Honey, No good advice ever starts with “My Uber Driver said so.”

Anemone (2025): A film that bores you in the first act, and leaves you hanging for more right when the film ends. The more I think about this movie, the more I wished it pushed towards the Lynchian style that you get glimpses of from time to time, but never fully get.

What Do We See When We Look Up At The Sky? (2021): A mouthful of a title that most definitely fits the films sense of grandiose and warmth. A Live-Action Ghibli film that can give a simple dog walking down a sidewalk an arc, and a storm drain life. Probably another modern classic for me.

Only Yesterday (1991): A film that perfectly portrays the idea of nostalgia (both good and bad). Slow and soothing, just like a cool, summer day.
