I scared the hell out of the cats, Dodgers. They were cutely snuggling. But not anymore. I hope you are happy.

Cute cat, right? Well ...this was immediately after he brought a LIVE PILEATED WOODPECKER into our house through the catio door. I don't even know how this was possible.

If you missed it in the print edition, the piece ran with this wonderful art from George Danby

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. Too many Dems parrot Republican talking points on immigration and mirror Republican policies.

All while regurgitating the utterly inaccurate "open-door" caricatures of Biden/Obama era policies that Trump and his ilk peddle? It's maddening.

Happy Lobster Roll Day, y'all. Edwin is FURIOUS.

Catio life.

Some inside baseball on what went down with Fulbright from one of the eleven board members who resigned last week.

Wild, but not surprising. I was on the other side of this. Greenlit every step of the way. Then cancelled, with no ability to inquire as to why.

This is real.

1) how can someone with this level of privilege be so criminally stupid as to not realize there are different types of doctoral degrees?

2) truly ghoulish response to the Biden being diagnosed with aggressive cancer. What a monstrous, small, cruel human.

EPIC CATIO UPDATE: Luna busted out of the catio somehow and has holed up in the shed. Currently trying to lure her back in with treats, food, cat gogurt, and sweetness. #LunaComeHome

Epic Catio Saturday.

Had a Zoom this evening and my coworker decided to crash it and climb all over me while drooling profusely.

April is the cruelest month. So Nicole got me this truly wonderful shirt. She gets me. ❤️

The students on my campus have constructed a makeshift memorial for the food delivery robot that got run over by a dump truck and caught fire last week. This is one of the most hilarious things I've ever seen them do.

A throwback from the days of yore when the idea of a new cold war with Canada was absurd and hilarious. Those were simpler, more innocent times.

If you own cats, you're familiar with little notes like this to prevent overfeeding.

If you're a cat , you'll decry this as a sophisticated disinformation campaign by "Big Starvation."

Academia in April. Why make a meal when you can make 6? Because once the week hits you'll be too busy to make food. You'll be thankful when you're devouring this at your desk hiding from humans with the lights off.

Sad news. Underneath that pile of dirt is a Kiwibot that got run over by a dump truck. It apparently immediately burst into a three foot column of flame.

The Kiwibot died in service to the campus. If you're out and about, watch your back. Its comrades are no doubt seeking revenge.

On this, the first day back from spring break, my wife snuck a pack of emotional support gummy bears into my lunch. I love this woman.

(P.S. In direct defiance of the "share size" packaging, I will not be sharing.)

We're actually not sure if Luna ever lived in a house before us or had cat toys. She's been bopping around for like a half hour with this thing, occasionally letting out little blerps of cat joy. It's the sweetest, cutest thing.
