Sorry to hear that. Most of the bluegrass folks I listen to are definitely on the more progressive/inclusive side. Can't speak for the fans though.

When I was young I thought it was really cool that they could talk to the computer in Star Trek. I laughed when Scotty tried to use the mouse as a microphone in the time travel movie.

I think that is true, but he has shifted a lot from where he started. The racist attacks on his daughter really shook him out of his conservative complacency.

I used to listen more consistently but Sarah seems to increasingly perform whatsboutism when David tries to point out how the DOJ is being corrupted. Her GOP political activist instincts can't let go.
