I believe an English-language translation of Shuna's Journey came out just a couple of years back.

Certainly nowhere near the scale of Nausicaa. Shuna no Tabi was probably the first book I ever actually read all the way through in Japanese.

Every time I see this I think it's the fanciest Arkanoid controller that I've ever seen.

I think it's a revolutionary way to launder plagiarism. It's the benefits of that to all of humanity that I'm more unclear on.

The numbat is one of only two marsupials that is strictly diurnal, as the daytime is when the termites that they feed on are most active.

The noolbenger (also known as the honey possum) is the only mammal besides bats that is strictly nectarivorous.

I don't know much about the character but in my headcanon Hello Kitty AKA 'Kitty White' from England is somehow related to the Street Fighter character Cammy White, who is also from England.

'what’s now considered the male pronoun, 他, was once used for all people'

I was slightly bemused by the character's non-gendered radical, but that would explain it.

I loved that lamentation on the state of Wikipedia.

It's a shame that the company went downhill. It covered such a wide variety of languages including some that don't have that many readily available learning resources.

Huh, I hadn't put much thought into the role of that fourth black stone beyond it making the graphic a bit more dynamic. It's great to know the mechanics behind that particular setup.

Also cool to see there were apparently a couple of attempts at that stylised tengen: logos.fandom.com/wiki/Tengen
Tengen

Well, it makes sense that the names share a theme since Tengen was a subsidiary of Atari Games? They couldn't use the Atari name for console releases since Jack Tramiel had bought the Atari consumer division properties.

Also, speaking of ataris and logos, I believe that this is one:

Rather than Blow I think I'd rather hear about what indie games came out around the same time as Braid but have largely fallen under the radar since because nobody decided that they were 'genius' enough.

Played 'Mr. Robot' not that long ago and that seemed a charming enough title.
