Yesterday’s election was a blue wave but… In a number of precincts, the turnout was higher than 2024 Presidential election. This is not an electorate that loves the Democrats; it is an pissed offelectorate. It is affordability. Bill Clinton said it best, “It is the economy stupid.”

It is an election day, though an off-year, so most of us will not be voting, but if you are a resident of one of the states that is voting, and you haven’t yet, do so. Larger than usual numbers will send a message, not only to the Republicans but to the Democrats as well. The people are pissed.

If you have it please donate cash to the food banks. $10 in their hands will feed more people than the $10 worth of canned goods you can buy for retail prices. Also check on your elders. Many of them will not admit they rely on these programs so grocery gift cards or a surprise bag of staples

The largest ballroom for a State Dinner holds 200 people. Because of this, in warmer weather, they have been held in tents. Yes, a bigger ballroom is needed. However, does it need to be big enough to seat 999?
