It’s been almost a week and the fog has lifted just enough to post anything. Ruby was our girl for over 13 years and lived to almost 16. Her loss hurts so very much.

This was my first introduction to them. On a high resolution system you can hear the subway faintly in the background. It’s a remarkable recording. So much air. So much sense of space.
