Very late #VolcanoMonday but here you have a picture of Agua volcano, that I took in Antigua Guatemala back in February. This city will host the XV Central American Geological Congress later this week and as much as 200 to 300 geoscientists from the region will be there.

A little bit late to #VolcanoMonday but here’s a picture I took of Fuego volcano in Guatemala about 10 days ago. In constant activity since 1999, it has produced nearly 80 paroxysms in the last 25 years. Plus, the daily explosions can go from 100 to 300 events every 24 hours.
